I once wrote a software to reprocess the pictures taken by the #2
camera of the Cassini space probe. The picture of the Apollo 14 upper
stage crash site published on www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LRO/multimedia/lroimages/lroc_20090929_apollo14sivb.html
has the same problem so I applied the software, with this result:
